Encounter School of Ministry (DC Campus) offers a 2 year training program that can change your life. You will grow in your own intimate relationship with our Lord, be transformed as you better understand your identity in Christ, and be equipped to carry on Jesus’ mission in the power of the Holy Spirit.

What is the Encounter School like?

Worship

The Encounter School of Ministry values freedom and joy in our response to God’s goodness. We express this in our school culture through childlike worship. Classes begin with an extended time of praise as we cultivate our awareness of God’s manifest presence and celebrate together His goodness.

Teach

Drawing from the riches of Catholic Tradition and Scripture, the Encounter School of Ministry focuses on transformation through the renewal of the mind. Our students learn to think with Jesus through teaching sessions, homework, and discussion groups as they grow in their identity as royal sons and daughters of God.

Equip

The Encounter School of Ministry values class culture that is driven by freedom, risk-taking, empowerment, respect, healthy boundaries, humility, feedback, and docility. Our students are challenged to grow in their God-given identity through a high level of student interaction in activations, prayer, and worship. We see empowered lifestyles thrive as we celebrate the goodness of God in every step of student growth

Activate

The gifts of the Spirit are part of our inheritance in Christ that, among other things, are meant to equip us for mission. Activations are powerful spiritual opportunities that help us experience the fullness of our identity and bring heaven to earth.

4-Day Summer Intensive

The Summer Intensive is an evening school that provides a survey of the content offered in the first four quarters of the Encounter School of Ministry over a fast four-day period. This quick paced, jam-packed course has attendees from around the globe and is designed for those desiring to attend the 2-Year Encounter School but is unable to do so because of distance or schedule. It is also ideal for those discerning their enrollment in the school of ministry but needing greater discernment. Many of our current students received their call for the 2-year program at the Summer Intensive.
